Expella is a family business based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We were founded in 2005 by Geoff and Wes Quick. Father and son share a background in construction and a love of design and practicality.

Geoff is a master builder and property developer with 50 years of experience managing every detail of building hundreds of townhouses and apartments across Sydney. Wes holds a bachelor of construction management and a master of commerce (property valuation), along with a background in project management for the Sydney Olympics infrastructure and managing major hospital refurbishments.

Long before a pandemic taught the world about the importance of airflow, Geoff and Wes recognised a huge opportunity to raise the standards of residential and commercial projects by improving ventilation.

Founded on good design principles and practicality, Expella’s approach means that homeowners, architects, designers and builders no longer need to settle for unattractive grilles, squashed ducting and underpowered fans.
