Expella’s External Run-on Timer allows an exhaust fan to continue running for a set time to ensure moisture and odours are cleared from a room, even if the fan or light switch is turned off. It overrides any other switches and maintains power to the fan so that your bathroom complies with the National Construction Code (F8D4 5b Exhaust Systems), requiring exhaust systems to operate for at least 10 minutes after the light switch is turned off.
The External Run-on Timer can be set to between 5 and 60 minutes. It has a universal socket to fit most exhaust fans and is available in two 4 pin plug configurations:
• 4 Pin (410) - Suits Clipsal 410 - WE Socket Outlet
• 4 Pin (413) - Suits Clipsal 413/4P - WE Socket Outlet
Automates an exhaust fan to switch off after a set period of time, ensuring steam and moisture is cleared
Variable timer – set run-on time to between 5 and 60 minutes (time is approximate, +/- 2 minute tolerance)
Ensures compliance with current National Construction Code requirements for exhaust systems (National Construction Code F8D4 5b Exhaust Systems)
For use with exhaust and supply air fans in domestic settings (e.g. bathrooms and laundries)
Connect the External Run-on Timer between a 4 pin socket and your chosen fan’s standard 3 pin plug.
Set the desired time using the dial on the front. Note that NCC 2022/2023 regulations require exhaust fans in non-naturally ventilated bathrooms/toilets to run for at least 10 minutes after the light is turned off to manage condensation.

I've had a new Expella Run On Timer and a new Expella In Line Exhaust Fan installed a few weeks back. Both are working perfectly and I am happy with my purchase.
