Natura is a luxury development of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments located in Macquarie Park, Sydney. Designed by Architectus, the $150 Million development consists of 334 apartments across two 21 story towers.
Expella’s Key Deliverables:
- Pre-construction system testing for the bathroom and laundry exhaust systems.
- Testing and reporting on range-hood performance prior to construction.
- The design and fabrication of a unique transition box to suit the exhaust outlet provided by the builder. This was integrated into the window subhead.
- Installed bathroom, laundry and kitchen exhaust systems into 334 high end apartments using a combination of PVC pipe, low profile ducting and Expella’s Ceiling Mounted Exhaust Fans.
- Installation of Miele undermount rangehoods (DA2360).
- Air flow testing and commissioning ensuring that the ventilation performance objectives were met and exceeded the Building Code requirements.
Expella's ventilation system keeps the bathrooms in the 334 apartments at Natura free from excessive steam and moisture.
Expella's Ceiling Fan is installed inside the shower recess, extracting moist air and preventing it steaming up the bathroom.
Expella tested and reported on range-hood performance prior to construction and installed Miele under-mount rangehoods in all of the kitchens at Natura. The under-mount range hood is concealed behind the kitchen joinery above the cook top.
Installed the Expella Ceiling Fan as part of the laundry exhaust system across all 334 apartments.
Expella designed and fabricated a unique transition box that connected to the external grille shown here. The grille is very discreet and hidden in the window frame.
