Expella’s Subfloor Fan can be installed to exhaust air (1406060) or supply air (1406060R). A supply Subfloor Fan and an exhaust Subfloor Fan can be used together to supply and exhaust air simultaneously.

The Subfloor Fan is designed to be installed through an external subfloor wall (wall between the floor level and ground level). When selecting a position ensure the wall is non-load bearing, if unsure consult a qualified builder for advice before attempting installation. A penetration will need to be made through the wall measuring 230-235mm wide x 165-170mm high (1 standard brick wide by 2 standard bricks high). The Subfloor fan uses a 12 Volt power source and comes with a 12Volt DC transformer and 4m 12V DC extension cable which needs to connect to the fan and run to the power source. Mains power and switching should be provided by a licensed electrician. Refer to installation instructions for further information. Periodic inspections and cleaning required to prevent dirt, dust or lint accumulating on fan impeller. Recommend annually.

Fan must be disconnected from power supply (unplug fan plug) before removing motor.
