This hygienic toilet solution, packed with Australian design innovation, is water efficient and easy to clean with it’s revolutionary rimless CleanFlush® that provides a whole bowl clean with no splashback. The award-winning integrated Odourless by Expella system eliminates the need for air fresheners by quietly extracting malodorous air from the toilet bowl as it is being used and discreetly sending it into the sewer, keeping intimate moments private.

The Caroma Urbane II has a contemporary low-profile design, optional coloured flush buttons and seat hinge caps to match other bathroom fixtures, as well as a soft close toilet seat. In addition, GermGard® protection applied to the seats is a unique antimicrobial formula which kills harmful bacteria, helps prevent the spread of germs and makes cleaning even easier.

The Caroma Urbane II with CleanFlush® Back-to-wall Suite is a standard toilet with Odourless by Expella pre-installed inside the cistern. The suite must be installed by a qualified plumber in accordance with AS/NZS 3500. Installation is the same as installing any other standard back to wall toilet but requires the addition of an electrical power source for the Odourless by Expella system. Have a qualified electrician install a general power outlet (GPO) within 3.5 meters of cable length to the toilet. The location of the GPO should allow future access to the 9VDC power transformer.

Expella recommends that the Odourless by Expella system switches on with the Expella PIR Motion Sensor or with the bathroom light, it can also be shared with the exhaust fan switch or by a designated switch depending on your preference.

The Caroma Urbane II with CleanFlush® Back-to-wall Suite comes with back and bottom water inlet options. If you are replacing your existing toilet, we recommend consulting with your plumber to ensure the correct option is purchased. You should also consult with them over the water inlet location and floor waste set-out.

Maintain the Caroma Urbane II with CleanFlush® Back-to-wall Suite as you would a normal toilet with regular cleaning. The seat has a top fixing with quick release when required for cleaning. All internal components (inlet valve, flush valve and Odourless by Expella system) are accessible by removing the cistern lid. The Odourless by Expella system is secured within an ultrasonically welded ABS plastic case and requires no maintenance. As with all electrical products, access to the adaptor is recommended.
