Expella’s Compact Roof Fan is a powerful exhaust fan, ideal for ventilating larger spaces or multiple rooms in residential, commercial and light industrial settings. It has a low profile design that sits discreetly on the roof, with the fan’s external roof location resulting in reduced operational noise in the rooms that it is ventilating. The backward curved centrifugal motor is a top performer when system pressure is high as a result of more complex duct systems (e.g. multiple bends, long duct lengths and multiple extraction points).

The Compact Roof Fan is to be installed externally on the roof and can service single or multiple ventilation points. The fan requires wiring by an electrician and needs to be mounted directly to rigid metal or PVC duct. Rigid duct should be fixed to a rafter or additional timber bracing, a dektite or flashing is also required. A complete system may require internal grille/s, flexible duct and joiners. Backdraft dampers are recommended. Installation by an industry professional is recommended. Note that sharp bends in ducting can interfere with system performance, refer to installation instructions for further information. Please check product specifications with your tradesperson before ordering.
