Expella’s ECF Inline fans are EC (Electronically Commutated) fans consisting of a brushless DC motor with on-board electronics offering high performance, less wear over time and longer service life than traditional AC motors. These compact fans are efficient and stable performers with low vibration – they are a great choice if the fan will be running 24/7. The ECF is a mixed flow fan and features a free turning dial for precise speed control. The range includes 6 fan sizes that are suitable for ventilating residential and commercial spaces such as bathrooms, laundries, kitchen exhaust (rangehoods), storerooms and sub floor areas. All ECF fans have a removable motor for easy servicing and a 3 pin plug that simplifies on-site installation saving time and money.

The ECF Inline Mixed Flow EC Fans are to be installed as part of a single or multi-point inline ventilation system. The fan requires wiring along with duct and internal and external grille installation. Backdraft dampers are recommended. Installation by an industry professional is recommended (e.g. electrician or builder). A quick fix mounting bracket is included. Fix the fan in a suitable location between the inlet location and discharge location ensuring it is accessible for future maintenance. Note that sharp bends in ducting can interfere with system performance, refer to installation instructions for further information.

Periodic inspections and cleaning by a qualified tradesperson is recommended to prevent dirt, dust or lint accumulating on fan impeller.
Fan must be disconnected from power supply (unplug fan plug) before removing motor.
